    About Me

    What was your first cosplay?

My very first costume was of Amane Misa from Deathnote, she was half sown and half bought/edited costume, but i loved her non the less!

What do you do besides cosplaying?

I work as a Boutique/Shopkeeper for 6 different shops at Liseberg, but apart from that I´m also doing a lot of embroidery work, hat works, sewing and crafting.

What made you start cosplaying, and what is it that inspires you to continue with it?

I thought that cosplayers looked so supercool, and I also think that I enjoyed the thought of being able to become someone else than myself in the beginning, so I just started to cosplay and got hooked ever since then. That is now 10 years ago and I think that I myself have landed in the position of being the cosplayer that new cosplayers look upon (as I did once) and think that they wanna do that too, and that is what inspires me to continue, to be able to inspire others to take their craft as far as they can.

What is your favourite cosplay up until now, and what made you choose to portray that character?

My first NCC costume Spooky Boogie is probably still my absolute favorite costume even up to this day. I just love how "simple" she was in the construction phase and how otherworldly she looks like, both in person and in photos. And I never get enough of how much of an impact she gives to people, they just cannot believe that there is a person behind that smiling catface.

Do you have any specific techniques or materials that you like working with when creating your costumes?

I hatelove alot of materials, but I tend to always have to use spandex for a lot of costumes. Other than that I am a sucker for worbla and foam, but I sadly don’t get to use it as much as I wanna, but they too always sneaks into my costumes even if they aren´t always visible.

How did you qualify for the Nordic Cosplay Championship 2019?

I won the Swedish Championship 2019

What do you look forward to most with the competition?

As always it is the people I will get to hang with! I always meet new and interesting contestants, assistants and coordinators that just makes the whole NCC for me!

What costume do you plan on competing with in the finals, and what made you choose it?

Gaia Everfree from My little pony which is the same costume I won the Swedish Championship with, I chose her then because she was on my "Big costumes that i really wanna do" list.

But this time i have upgraded her since the Swedish Championship, and the reason for choosing her again is that I frankly dont wanna spend so much more money on a new costume and frankly I dont have the time either haha.

    What was your first cosplay?

Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

What do you do besides cosplaying?

Work as a game developer, play videogames and try to convince my boyfriend that we >do< want two cats (he always refuses).

What made you start cosplaying, and what is it that inspires you to continue with it?

I discovered the Star Wars universe when I was about 13 years old and I loved the clothes from Episode 1 so I made Darth Mauls clothes. Nowadays I do it for the crafting and the art aspect. ...and for all the lovely friends I've met and meet through cosplay =)

What is your favourite cosplay up until now, and what made you choose to portray that character?

I use to say my favourite is always my next one but I do love my Mariachi Reaper from Overwatch. It surprised me that I liked cross-playing that much (cosplaying the opposite gender), I look so handsome! Don't really remember why I picked it though, I guess I liked the design and all the new stuff I would have to try.

Also acting has always been a big passion of mine so being able to also incorporate that into cosplay is something that really inspires me to continue. I just really love every aspect of cosplay.

Do you have any specific techniques or materials that you like working with when creating your costumes?

Hmm, looking at my latest cosplays it's more like I want to try new techniques and materials every time. My most recent favourite material is leather as I use it in my next cosplay.

How did you qualify for the Nordic Cosplay Championship 2019?

Won 2nd place in the Swedish Cosplay Championship 2019

What do you look forward to most with the competition?

Always meeting all the other contestants who obviously share the passion for cosplay. Cheering for each other and hanging together backstage use to be the best part =)

What costume do you plan on competing with in the finals, and what made you choose it?

So far I'm not entirely certain of what cosplay yet, you'll have to see on competition day or at my Instagram!
